Basics:
I’m Marianne Strait, Mindset Mastery Maestro, and former “victim” of a poor mindset. (Note “Victim” is in quotes… it’s more like I owned it and boy did it cost me!)
Who am I?
First and foremost, I identify myself as a mom. Even though my kids are grown men now, they are my happy thoughts. After years of infertility and miscarriages, it’s no surprise I became “mom” first…. and I left the career path for a “job” when my kids were little. I don’t regret it at all, but it certainly shifted everything in my world.
I’ve spent a lot of time discovering who this “empty nest” Marianne is… what are my hopes and dreams? What is my passion? I had NO CLUE who I really was at my core. SO much of me had changed over the past 2 and a half decades, and I needed to discover who I was now. The only thing I knew, for sure, was that from this point on I wanted to help others AND control my own destiny. Because I realized that I had decades of misogyny and negativity to overcome, I began my journey by reconnecting with my own strength and power.
It took an impulse session with the founder of an emotional releasing technique to put it all together… and – as amazing as it seems – I discovered my “missing piece” in an “instant” during that call!
What I love…
I’m a self-help junkie. I love anything that provides growth or inspiration. I love books and movies about the underdog winning, or a life transformed. I’ve done the deep dive into the law of attraction, and emotional releasing tools. I love camping, reading, and building and tweaking websites, infographics, mind maps and social media images.
What I don’t like so much…
Prejudice. I believe we are “human” first. I also believe our differences are what makes life so damn interesting.
What makes me jump out of bed in the morning…
Lotsa things (as my mom would say) Probably the biggest is the potential to help someone improve their life today.
Why am I here?
All of my life I’ve been drawn to help people overcome their limitations and self-doubt. I laughed (because it was SO TRUE) when I took the Gene Key personality test and it told me that my mission in life was to “Change how people see themselves”.
The day I got that result I realized that this was a defining characteristic of my whole life! Even as a child I was a magnet for the outcasts. They befriended me because I instinctively saw the human being in pain. I gave them hope, encouragement and support. Yeah, even in early elementary school helping others was like oxygen to me.

I am certified in several “emotional releasing” techniques and in professional coaching. I have also studied dozens of other systems and techniques. This thirst for knowledge has driven me to develop a robust skill set to share with my clients.

It’s not always easy, or quick. There can be setbacks, especially if you are going it alone like I did.
Yeah, I am embarrassed to admit that, in spite of all I knew about helping others, I allowed myself to get lost in victim-hood!!!!
The people who drew the “box” around me were the most influential and important people in my life. I gave my power away to them and their perceptions. Some of it was their fear of my pursuing dreams they thought would bring me too many challenges, and some of it, to be honest, had a bit of misogyny in it.
In some ways it was all a blessing. I know how hard it is to break out of the old mindset. I know the resistance that pops up when you introduce a new mindset. And I know the powerful shift that happens when you “get it”. Understanding this from the “clients” point of view makes me far more able to help YOU through the maze with compassion, care, and effective motivation!
